Your sight is our highest priority and we believe research is the best means of protecting it

The project offers hope to the millions of patients who suffer from both the ‘dry’ and `wet’ forms of AMD.  However, in order to get the therapy to clinic within 5 years (the London Project’s goal) a further £3 million needs to be raised to match the philanthropic donation that launched the project.

To put this in perspective, this is an eye disease which affects 25 per cent of over-60s in the UK, approximately 3 million people. If everyone currently suffering from AMD in the UK donated just over £1, we would have the funds required to develop a cure for blindness.
